Coach Bell is entering her 3rd year at Lowndes High School this season as Head Coach of Vikings Volleyball and her 6th year of teaching Health and Physical Education. Previously, Coach Bell was at Lowndes Middle School where she taught Physical Education as well as coached softball and basketball then Varsity gymnastics at LHS leading them to their highest team finish in school history.
Coach Bell came to Lowndes County from Acworth, Ga. where she was a Health and PE teacher at Allatoona High School. During her two years there she was the Head JV coach and Assistant Varsity Volleyball coach, Assistant Varsity Girls Basketball Conditioning coach, Assistant Varsity Lacrosse coach, and the Head Varsity Gymnastics Coach. Coach Bell says her favorite volleyball memories have been watching teams compete and win in the big moments making school history: the Allatoona Volleyball team winning state in 2019 and Lowndes Volleyball winning Region in 2022 for the first time in school history.
Coach Bell is happily married to her husband Clayton Bell, a member of the United States Air Force working as an Air Traffic Controller. Together they are the proud parents of two adorable pups - Charlie and Maybelle. And expecting their first child, December 2023.

Coach Kat is entering her 5th year at Lowndes High School this season. Previously coming from Colorado where she coached 5 years of high school and club volleyball. As a player throughout her high school career, then turning to coach, she has been dedicated to help grow volleyball from the Midwest to South Georgia.
Personally, Coach Kat played at Columbine High School and a variety of different clubs throughout her playing career. At the college level Kat played co-ed club at various positions helping to expand her volleyball IQ. In total 15 years of Coach Kat’s life have been spent playing or coaching the sport of volleyball.
Coach Kat is a military spouse, this is the third base her and her husband Jeremy have been stationed at. They have a 7 year old Australian shepherd who has been a companion through both a hardship tour and what is about to be two deployments.

Coach Chancey is starting her 2nd year in the Lowndes family this year for her 8th year in education. She currently teaches math as well as coaching and loves being a Viking!
Before Lowndes, Coach Chancey came from Georgia Cyber Academy where she worked as a Behavior Intervention Specialist for a little over a year. Previous to Georgia Cyber, Coach Chancey taught Math and Special Education at South Effingham High School for 5 years. During that time, Coach Chancey was the Head Varsity Volleyball Coach for 4 years, taking one year off to finish her Master’s Degree in Special Education. She remained involved with the team as her study schedule would permit. During college, Coach Chancey worked for the Statesboro-Bulloch County Parks and Recreation Department in multiple positions, but she is most proud of helping found and run the volleyball program through the 4 years of her undergraduate degree.
Coach Chancey was introduced to the sport of volleyball during middle school. She quickly fell in love with the sport! Coach Chancey played school ball for 6 total years, playing Varsity all 4 years at the high school level. She also played 5 years of competitive club ball, where she enjoyed the faster pace and higher competition level. Through these years Coach Chancey mainly played the position of setter. In her free time in high school, she gained experience refing and coaching recreation leagues for developing players.

Coach King is very excited to be starting her first year teaching and coaching for Lowndes High School as the 9th Grade Volleyball Head Coach.
A native of Moultrie, GA, Coach King graduated from BYU in Utah, and recently moved back to Georgia to begin her teaching career. Coach King enjoyed playing team sports while in high school and is super excited to once again be a part of a team.

Coach Maddie is entering her first year at Lowndes as an assistant coach for volleyball and she is excited to jump in and become a Viking!
Coach Maddie played volleyball for a combined 15 years now and recently ended her career by turning down college offers to pursue her truest passion of becoming a pilot. Coach Maddie currently holds her PPL (private pilot license) and is on her way to the airlines.
Coach Maddie has played school volleyball since she was in the 4th grade with her high school years at Landmark Christian as well as club volleyball at A5 and beach volleyball at S3.
Growing up Coach Maddie also played tennis, soccer, track, and basketball but volleyball has always been her favorite. When Coach Maddie is not assisting with volleyball she spends her free time with her two pups Yoda and Apollo, as well as her kitty Whiskey.
